Dramas have many sub genres which can have many different age ratings for each different type of the genre. For example a Drama thriller might be a 15 while a Romance Drama may be a 12. We have decided that our film will be a 12 or a 12A rated film. This is because of the content we have included in the film.
So our potential audience will be aimed at a young teenager to a mature adult. (12-25 years old), this will allow us to have a wide range of merchandise and content that will be suitable for most age groups. Also there may be older people who watch the film as the age rating doesn't limit the age, it is just a recommendation. But we shall be sending out a questionnaire that will help us decide on our target audience.
