The title sequence for our film will have to be in keeping with drama/Thriller genre. It will be full of suspense and gripping to watch. In order to set the mood and overall style of the film. A title sequence that ours will be based on is (David Finchers) Se7en. It has creepy music that helps to set the scene and fast almost disturbing images that make the intro scary.
We will be using many of the techniques in this from this sequence in ours in order to form a legitimate seeming thriller/drama.
The title sequence in ours important because it shows off the fake production company we create to make it look all the more professional.
How we mad them similar is that in both they play music which could be interpreted as thriller, another way is that in both we only see a small part of the character, Eg. hand in se7en, the feet in our film. We used this is a direct example because it clear that the rest of the film will be thrilling, and from the very start of the film this is what we wanted to convey.
What is clearly different in the two title sequences differ is that in Se7en sequence it features the antagonist (John Doe) whereas ours features the protagonist (Jamie). We did this because Se7en shows the antagonist interacting with people and shows more about his personality, ours is centred around our main character and how he deals with the uncomfortable/ thrilling situation
