Music For Our Film

The music we are thinking about using for our film will have sinister connotations that dramatise our film and make it more thrilling. We have used websites like Jamendo which gives out free music that isn't copyrighted which means we can use them without breaking law. We used the search setting "Soundtrack" then went through all the tracks to see which one might have fitted our film, we wanted a song with ominous overtones. We listened/ watched a few dramas and thriller in order to get an idea of what our film should like. One example is David Fincher's Se7en which has dramatic sounding music which fits the drama of genre

Having searched through the music on Jamendo we finally came to a unanimous agreement on which song we wanted as our main theme song. We were also careful when filming our film not to have any music that is copyrighted, an example of this is during the car scene in our film the radio is playing, as a result of this we have cut this part down in order to be in compliance with the law
