Filming Locations

When shooting our film we used a variety of different locations throughout the film however, most of the footage was filmed around or in Barnsley College. We thought that we should use the college as the characters are all college students and it was easy to access as we are all studying there so it was easy to shoot throughout the week. Also, by filming in college, the audience would understand the storyline as they would easily understand the locations.

One location that we filmed at was directly outside the main Old Mill Lane college building. In this scene, there is a first person point of view shot with the stalker watching Jamie walking into the college building. This is the first point in the film in which the main character is seen to be stalked.

Another location that we used whilst filming was the classrooms and the corridors inside the Old Mill Lane building. We used these for the main ending to the film which sees Jamie walking out of classrooms and following the stalker into a dark classroom. This was an easy accessible location as we were allowed to shoot within the media lessons that we had together.

Another location that we used whilst filming was the house of one of the people in our group. We used this location to film Jamie pulling up to the house and then disappearing whilst inside. This is the first instance in which mystery occurs in the film, which hints to the audience something is wrong. We were able to go to the house and film this over one afternoon after we had finished college which made it easy to film the shots in daylight.
