Hand Held Shot

Throughout Lights Out we have tried to make our film as exciting as possible. An important scene in film which at the very least tries to do such a task is through the stalkers point of view of our protagonist. Through the hand held shot we are able to see what our antagonists sees, thus making the viewer almost empathise with the stalker, not in any emotional way though, rather a hunter prey aspect. This is important because it gives a whole new view on the situation they're placed in, and it also makes the scene all the more thrilling, which as the genre is a thriller we have have conformed to the stereotypes.

This is the scene in which the hand held view of the protagonist from the antagonist is most prominent.
